Hi friends! Today I am sharing a card that I created using the July Stamp of the Month, Hey Hot Stuff (now available for individual purchase)! I just knew that this image of the flying dragon would work so perfectly with the new Cloudy Day Foilable Panels and Shattered Blue CheerFoil!

Other Key Products Used:

Let’s get into the details for how I put this card together!

I started by coloring up the flying dragon image, sun image and cloud images from Hey Hot Stuff with my Copic Markers, and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I also pulled out my Touch of Gloss to add some glossy accents to the inside of the dragon’s glasses! I set my image aside to dry in a location where it would not get disturbed.

I preheated my Pink & Main Mini Minc and then foiled the Shattered Blue CheerFoil on top of a Cloudy Day Foilable Panel. Once Foiled, I used the Cloudy Day stencil and blended over it with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink. Now, do be aware that the material of the Foilable Panel isn’t the best surface to blend inks on top of. My ink did look rather splotchy, so I decided to splatter some White Linen Ink Spray on to the panel. I adhered this panel with a Dotted Adhesive Roller to a White and Yellow polka dot pattern from the All Occasions Paper Pad, which i die cut with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies Set 1.

I heat embossed the sentiment “Hey Hot Stuff” in Frosting Embossing Powder onto Moss Cardstock. I then cut out my sentiment with one of the dies from the Large Sentiment Banners Die Set and ink blended the bottom of the die cut with Twisted Citron Distress Ink.

Using a combination of Foam Tape and EZ Squeeze Adhesive, I went ahead and adhered my images and sentiment to my card. I applied some Pretty Posies Glitter Enamel Dots to my panel and adhered the panel entirely to an A2-sized card base. My card was complete!
