Shine Bright, Deer!

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello friends! Today, I am casting a protective spell and conjuring up a wintry forest card featuring a snowy dear! Scrapbook.com has some AMAZING products to help inspire your holiday crafting, and I am hoping this card inspires you too!

This card combines the deer and spruce twig images from the Winter Wishes & Spruce Sprigs stamp set and a sentiment from the Howdy & Yeehaw stamp set! I thought these sets surprisingly worked really well together!

Below is a complete list of products used:

Winter Wishes & Spruce Sprigs Stamp Set
Howdy & Yeehaw Stamp Set
Winter A2 Patterned Paper Pad
Nested A2 Arches Decorative Die Set
Catherine Pooler Inks: Juniper Mist, Cove Blue & Slate
Frosting Embossing Powder
Embossing Watermark Ink
Clear Glitter Enamel Dots

To create this card, I die cut a panel of white cardstock and stamped various Spruce Springs from the Winter Wishes & Spruce Sprigs Stamp Set to decorate my panel. I also ink blended the edges with Cove Blue Ink by Catherine Pooler. I also colored up the deer from this stamp set and popped it onto my panel as well.

For my sentiment, I used the “you make the world shimmer” sentiment from Howdy & Yeehaw, which I stamped onto a piece of cardstock from the Winter A2 Patterned Paper Pad with Watermark Embossing Ink and then embossed with Frosting Embossing Powder.

When it came to my background panel, I chose this gorgeous pattern from the Winter A2 Paper Pad that has white and gray winter foliage against a light gray background. It is just STUNNING! And… it was actually a scrap from a previous project of mine that I am so glad I was able to find a use for!

I finished this card with some Clear Glitter Enamel Dots, which provided such a nice bit of sparkle and shine to my project!

Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog today for more information about this festive forest card! I hope it leaves you with some winter inspiration for your next project that you create using some of your favorite Scrapbook.com products!

Happy Crafting!
