Kindred Stamps November Release- Friendship Bracelet

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello, friends! It’s so crazy to think about November already nearing it’s end, but I LOVE that it means that the Kindred Stamps November 2023 Release is upon us!! For my sneak peeks this month, I am featuring the new Friendship Bracelet KIT (that’s right, I said kit)! This kit includes both a 3″ x 4″ stamp set AND a coordinating die set to create your very own friendship bracelet projects!

Let’s get into the details of the 3 cards that I created!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Friendship Bracelet Kit
Bubbles Stencil
Showtime Paper Pack
Clear Embossing Powder

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
Distress Oxide Inks: Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina & Shaded Lilac
Distress Inks: Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina & Shaded Lilac
Metallic Watercolor Accents
Holographic paper
Liquid Adhesive

For my very first project using the Friendship Bracelet Kit, I wanted to do the expected “Best Friends” card using the new set. I decided to use a light pink, light blue and light purple color palette, and paired it with a blue stripe pattern that matched from the Showtime Paper Pack!

Now, to give my beads a little extra bit of flair, I actually embossed each of the stamped letters with Clear Embossing Powder, as that made each of the letters pop a bit!

Versafine Clair Red Tulip Ink

I thought it would be SUPER cute to use the new Friendship Bracelet Kit to create a Christmas Card! Now, a little bit of insight… If you are creating an A2-sized card, and it’s in Portrait Orientation, you really can’t get away with more than 6 dies across your friendship bracelet string die cut. That being said, I knew that the word “Christmas” wouldn’t fit. I don’t really LOVE using the term “xmas”, but given my sizing constraints, I knew that it would have to do!

I paired this card with some of the patterns provided in the Merry Mint Paper Pad, and I just adore how all these colors came together!

Another tip I wanted to share… I used Copic Markers to shade the left sides of each of my beads. I wanted to do something that added a little bit of dimension to my beads, and it really does add a nice detail!

Friendship Bracelet Kit
Howdy Word Craft Dies
Rodeo Paper Pack

Other Key Products Used:
Distress Oxide Ink: Antique Linen
Distress Inks: Vintage Photo & Ground Espresso
Sequins
Liquid Adhesive

For my last card using the Friendship Bracelet Kit, I wanted to use the set in a non-traditional way. I have been ITCHING to use the newer Rodeo Paper Pad, because I love the colors and slight rustic feel to the patterns. I thought it would be really fun to just use the stamp set, and not the included dies, to create a hello card with a twist! I used the Howdy Word Craft Dies, and stamped out the letters to spell “PARTNERS” on a strip of paper, and just love that I have a card that now says “Howdy Partner”! I made this card into a full panel shaker card, and grabbed a gold and brown sequin mix from my stash, and it worked so well with all these colors!

And there you have it! 3 cards using the brand new Friendship Bracelet Kit!
