Scrapbook.com- Magical Ice Cream Wishes

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello, friends! Today I am sharing a card I made that was inspired by some of the most magical places on earth! I am pulling in some brand new Scrapbook.com Exclusives to help make this card come together, along with a little bit of ink blending to really make it pop!

Note: The Sweet Scoops Decorative Die Set used to create this ice cream cone with ears is currently FREE with purchase (Shipping rates still apply) at Scrapbook.com. The offer ends tomorrow, 6/30/2023 at 11:59 PM Arizona Time!

Below is a list of products that I used to create this card:

Sweet Scopes Decorative Die Set
Joyful Alphabet with Numbers Decorative Die Set
Thank You Sentiments II Decorative Die Set
Magical 6″ x 8″ Patterned Cardstock Paper Pad
Catherine Pooler Inks: Buttercream, Over Coffee, Icing on the Cake & Merlot
Artis Liquid Adhesive
Dotted Adhesive Roller
Large Foam Squares
Floral Hearts Glitter Enamel Dots
Various colored cardstock scraps from my stash

I wanted to share a couple tips for bringing this card together, that I also hope helps you during your next creation!

First, I always stress to ink blend your die cuts whenever appropriate. This will add so much dimension to those dies, and will really help give them a finished edge. Even if you are going for a very light color, I still recommend it. For example, I was going for a vanilla ice cream scoop. I took a scrap of white cardstock from my stash, die cut the ice cream scoop shape, and then distressed the bottom portion with Buttercream ink to give it that slightly cream color!

Next, when in doubt with your sentiment, its always nice to have a couple different alphabet die sets on hand to customize your own! Scrapbook.com alone has so many different alphabet die set sizes and styles, and I was able to use the Joyful Alphabet with Numbers Decorative Die Set set to add on the “PAL” sentiment! It fit perfectly!

Finally, that little bow that’s on top of my ice cream cone? That was part of one of the printed designs included in the Magical 6″ x 8″ Patterned Cardstock Paper Pad! I fussy cut the bow out, and then popped it onto my ice cream cone with some foam tape so that it gave some dimension to my project!

Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog to check out my mousey ice cream creation! I hope this card leaves you inspired to create your very own magical project using some new products by Scrapbook.com!

Thank you again, and happy crafting!
