Scrapbook.com Patterned Paper Birthday Wishes

Hello and Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today I am sharing a VERY simple birthday card that I created using some new products from Scrapbook.com to create a birthday card that (if I can say so myself) looks like you could easily find this on a shelf to buy at a store near you!

Below is a list of products that I used to create this card:

Sunny Lane 6″ x 8″ Patterned Paper Pad
Happy Birthday Rub-On Transfers
Nested A2 Rectangle Dies
Bubblegum, Lemon Chiffon and Ocean Waves Pearl Pops of Color
Artis Glue

I started this card off by going through the Sunny Lane 6″ x 8″ paper pad and selecting 2 patterns: the big shops pattern, and the multi-colored flowers pattern. I used the 2nd largest die in the Nested A2 Rectangle Dies to cut out my big shops paper, so that 3 of the 4 shops on the print were featured.

Tip: Using a die to cut my patterned paper allowed me to get a precise cut for how I wanted these shops featured! I always recommend using nested dies when going for a layering effect, so that way you get perfect cuts!

Next, I grabbed my Happy Birthday Rub-On Transfers and placed the balloons in the sky first. I then placed the Happy Birthday transfer on top of the already set balloons and pressed that one to my panel as well.

I adhered this panel using Artis Glue to a die cut A2-sized panel of the multi-color flowers, and then the whole unit to an A2-sized card base. I finished by applying some pops of colors (Bubblegum, Lemon Chiffon and Ocean Waves) that coordinate with some of the already present colors!

Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog today!

I hope this card leaves you inspired to use some of your favorite Scrapbook.com products to create simple birthday cards for your stash!

Happy Crafting!

Did you know that I have written a special blog post that I rank all of the current Distress Oxide colors?

Check it out if you haven’t yet! I have had a lot of great response from people who have used this list to start their Distress Oxide Journey!
