Now, let’s get into some details for how I created this card!

I started my card by coloring up the April Pup image and some raindrops with my Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut my images out and then set him aside for later.

Using the Cloudy Day Embossing Folder, I embossed an A2-sized piece of Sunny Sky cardstock. I trimmed it down to 4″ x 5.25″ and adhered it to a white card base.

Next, I used the Layered Scalloped Circle Dies to die cut (1) large circle scallop from Yellow Glitter Paper, included in the Spring Glitter Paper Pack, and (1) from Barbershop cardstock. I then die cut the stitched circle die from the set from Sunny Day Cardstock, and distressed the edges with Barbershop Premium Dye Ink. I adhered the layers together, with the stitched circle on top! I adhered this unit to the slightly upper center of the card. I used foam tape to adhere my pup to the panel, along with adhering the rain drops with liquid adhesive.

I stamped my sentiment in Embossing Watermark Ink onto Barbershop Cardstock and heat embossed it with Frosting Embossing Powder. I then cut it out with the coordinating dies and adhered it to my card.

Finally, I adhered some Cloudy Day Enamel Dots and my card was completed!
