Scrapbook.com- Big Love

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello friends! A few day ago, I announced that I am OFFICIALLY a member of the Scrapbook.com Creative Team! For one of my very first projects, I went ahead and created an A7-sized card, which is a good chunk bigger than what I typically create! The reason I chose to create a bigger card is because of how much I just knew I needed to use the big “love” sentiment included in the Love You XOXO stamp set!

Below is a list of products that I used to create this card:

Love You XOXO Stamp Set by Scrapbook.com
Playful Smooth 6″x8″ Paper Pad
Banana Split Pops of Color
Frozen Flurry Pops of Color
Foam Adhesive Squares- Large Squares by Scrapbook.com
Catherine Pooler Inks: Samba, Sauna, Skylight, Cove Blue & Juniper Mist
Pink & Main Embossing Powders: Frosting & Clear
Embossing Watermark Ink Pad by Pink & Main
Neenah Classic Crest- Solar White Cardstock

Here are a few more images of the card I created!

I wanted to share a couple fun techniques that I used to create this card!

First, I created that XOXO background, I stamped out the “XOXO” stamp repeatedly to fill up the entire panel! I always think this is a fun way to stretch your stamp use!

Next, the big “LOVE” sentiment is stamped in Samba Ink, but then I also stamped over it with Embossing Ink and embossed it with Clear Powder so that it gives it that raised shine! I also popped this up with some Large Foam Squares to give the card some extra depth!

Finally, I used some ink distress techniques to bring some extra color to the edges of each of my stamped panels! This really helps amp up the color of the overall card, and provides that finished edge!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope this card provides you with some fun inspiration for creating your next stamped background card with a big sentiment!

Happy Crafting!
