Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello friends! It’s getting towards the very end of the month (and OMG, 2022!), which means it’s time for the Kindred Stamps December Release! Now, I don’t feel so guilty about saying this… I LOVE this new Career Day: Legal set! This 4″ x 6″ set has so many fun images to use for your crafting, with a couple fandom images popped in as well!

I created 4 projects using this new stamp set, so let’s talk about what I made! Also! Be sure to stick around for Copic Marker Combinations for each image!

Embossing Ink Pad

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Distress Ink: Vintage Photo
Distress Oxide Inks: Rustic Wilderness, Tea Dye, Walnut Stain, Ground Espresso, Hickory Smoke & Black Soot
Colored Cardstock
Foam Tape

This first project using the Career Day: Legal set was SO fun to make! I colored up my TV Judge with my Copic Markers and just adored how she turned out! I decided to make a courtroom scene card with her, and trimmed down some kraft cardstock to create her bench!

I wanted to give her carpet some pattern, so I thought it would be fun to use the Arrow Stencil to blend a green pattern onto gray ink-blended carpet! I also heat embossed my sentiment in Snowfall Embossing Powder, and then fussy cut it out so it really popped!

Merry Mimosa Doo Dadz (Shaker Bits)

For my 2nd card, I made a shaker card with the Law Professor image from the Career Day: Legal Stamp Set! This character is one that I have been waiting to make their appearance for a LONG time! I decided to make a card with a fun foiled background using the Blood Splatter Stencil, as it works so well with this character!

The shaker element was really easy to make as well, as I just used the 2 circle dies from the Card Basics Die Set. I decided to use vellum for my shaker window instead of acetate, as I liked that it muted down the design behind the shaker screen!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Career Day: Legal Stamp Set
Weave Stencil
Snowfall Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink Pad

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Distress Spray Stain: Mustard Seed, Tarnished Brass & Antiqued Bronze
Bronze Deco Foil
Deco Foil Toner Sheets
Gold Glitz Glitter Gel
Colored Cardstock
Gold Glossy Dots
Foam Tape

For my Blind Justice card, I wanted to play with metallics and create a mini-slimline card! I sprayed a few Distress Spray Stains onto some white Distress Heavy Stock. For a little bit of extra texture and shimmer, I placed the Weave Stencil over the panel and applied a messy layer of Glitz Glitter Gel!

I framed the panel with a Bronze foiled toner sheet and then added some Gold Glossy Dots for extra embellishment!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Career Day: Legal Stamp Set
Moroccan Tile Stencil
Stitched Alpha Die Set
Prism Enamel DotsStit

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Distress Oxide Inks: Salvaged Patina & Salty Ocean
Colored Cardstock
Foam Tape

For my final card using the Career Day: Legal set, I decided to bring back a little bit of my own naughty card! I colored up the Jury Image and fussy cut them out.

I decided on a clean and simple approach, blending up Salvaged Patina & Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks over the Moroccan Tile Stencil (currently on sale, by the way)! I then die cut a handful of the letters from the Stitched Alpha Die Set and worded up a cheeky sentiment, which takes up most of the card! And, of of course, I finished off my card with some Prism Enamel Dots for extra embellishment!
