Pink & Main June Release: Warm Flip Flop Wishes

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be sharing with you a Pink & Main sneak peek of 7 brand new products being released this upcoming Friday, June 17th, 2022 for the June Release! Today, I am showing off the new Stay Cool Stamp Set AND Coordinating Stencil! That’s right! I didn’t color up this image using markers, I ink blended the whole thing!

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Below is a list of Pink & Main products used to create this card:
Stay Cool Stamp Set
Stay Cool Coordinating Dies
Stay Cool Stencil
Curly Waves Stencil
Middle School Cardstock
Ahoy Enamel Dots
Sapphire Embossing Powder
Clear Embossing Powder
Embossing & Watermark Ink Pad

This card was really easy to pull together, thanks to the use of the Stay Cool stencil! I heat embossed my image from the Stay Cool Stamp Set using black ink and the Clear Embossing Powder. I used Catherine Pooler Inks to blend up the images with the Stay Cool Stencil. I used the following colors:

Flip Flops: Glitz & Tiara
Waves: Cummerbund, All That Jazz & Dress Blues
Flower: Be Mine & Party Dress
Green Leaves: Lime Rickey & Grass Skirt
Aqua Leaves: In the Park & Aquatini

I die cut my image out using the coordinating die cuts.

I used an A2-sized piece of Middle School Cardstock and used the Curly Waves Stencil to ink-blend Suede Shoes Catherine Pooler Ink onto the panel.

I used the new glittery Sapphire Embossing Powder with the Embossing & Watermark Ink Pad to heat emboss the sentiment “warm wishes”, which I die cut using the Stay Cool Coordinating Dies as well! I adhered my sentiment directly onto my die cut flip flop image.

For finishing up my card, I adhered my flip flop & sentiment unit using foam tape, and then adhered a few Ahoy Enamel Dots onto my card, before adhering the entire panel to an A2-sized card base!

I hope this card has gotten you even MORE excited for the rest of the fun coming your way with the June 2022 Release! Be sure to keep an eye out on the Pink & Main blog for even more sneak peeks by the Design Team before the entire release drops on Friday!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Did you know that I have written a special blog post that I rank all of the current Distress Oxide colors?

Check it out if you haven’t yet! I have had a lot of great response from people who have used this list to start their Distress Oxide Journey!
