Kindred Stamps May Release: Sea Monster Kids

Hey everyone! I’m continuing with more Kindred Stamps May Release fun by showing off my collection of projects using the brand new set swimming into the Kindred Stamps website on Friday: Sea Monster Kids! This set is just the MOST fun with 5 characters and so many awesome coordinating sentiments. It’s going to make you want to book a trip to Italy pronto!

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Let’s get to my projects!

I wanted to use the Sea Monster Kids stamp set to create a scene card using the 2 sea monsters swimming underwater! The Waves and Ocean Scene craft die combined perfectly to help put these kids right at home, and I loved using the sunset colors for the sky too! I heat embossed my sentiment using the Snowfall Embossing Powder and love how it pops!

For my 2nd project using the Sea Monster Kids stamp set, I wanted to create a scene using the 3 kids in the stamp set together. I used the new Seaside Paper as a border of sorts for my card, and used the Distress Brick Stencil to help create a simple scene for these kiddos! This card was made with lots of amore!

For my 3rd Sea Monster Kids project, I wanted to have some fun with my layout by playing with the dies included in the Card Basics Die Set. I decided to use the circle dies to cut spotlight areas for both the image and the sentiment, that latter of which was heat embossed in Snowfall Embossing powder. This was a really great no-ink-blending card to create as the layout really highlights a bold sentiment and a colored image!

For my final Sea Monster Kids project that I created, I wanted to feature our main sea monster on a card all of his own. I used a splotchy stencil to ink blend my background, which I also used the Swirly Bits Stencil to add a little bit of fun detail to the card as well. The Snowfall Heat Embossed Sentiment Strip also worked perfectly for a popping sentiment as well!
