Bunny Butts and Easter Treats

Happy Easter, to all who celebrate, everyone! Today I am sharing a quick little blog for this sweet and funny little card I made to join in the festivities! It’s one of those cards that beg the question “let me know when you get it”!

The bunnies and sentiment come from the Kindred Stamps set Easter Treats. I colored up each of the bunnies in Copic Markers, fussy cut them out, and set them aside.

For my grassy background, I used 2 Squiggle Mat dies by Stamp Anniething, which I cut out of Blending Cardstock. I took one layer and used the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border Die to cut out a grass piece. I blended the grass piece with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. For the sky piece, I used the Lawn Fawn Cloudy Stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I also matted this piece with a purple piece of cardstock, also die cut into a Squiggle Mat as well.

For the egg pattern background, I used the Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts- Basket of Fun by Therm O Web (I’m showing they’re half off today!!) and used a Purple Deco Foil Transfer Sheet to get that metallic shine. I also distressed the edges using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink.

I finished this card off my adhering all my pieces together, stamping my sentiment “A treat for my” in Grape Crush Catherine Pooler ink, adhering some Rainbow Sparkletz bits, and adhering the whole unit to an A2 sized card base!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope, however and if you’re celebrating today, you enjoy your Easter Sunday!

Happy Crafting, and I’ll see y’all on the next post!
