Kindred Stamps Monthly Naughty Set- Poop

And just when you thought your day couldn’t get any CRAPPIER (oh boy, so many poop puns ahead)!! Of course, I mean “crappier” in the best way possible because it’s time to introduce the newest addition to the Kindred Stamps Naughty Collection: Poop!! This new 3″ x 4″ set has so many fun buildable sentiments that allows you to make a card that ranges any where from the PG to the PG-13 Range (I’ve never considered use of the “s” word to constitute as an R-Rating).

The new Poop set also is being released with a Poop Stencil, which just coordinates perfectly with this brand new set! So, let’s get to it!

For my first project, I colored up the poop image from the Poop set with my Copic Markers, fussy cut it out directly on the line, ran a Copic Multi-liner around the edges, and set it aside.

Next, I took a piece of brown with white dots patterned paper and used the stitched rectangle die from the Card Builder Basics Die Set to cut it out. I placed the Poop Stencil over top, and blended Ground Espresso Distress Ink over the stencil. I removed the stencil and distressed the edges of the panel with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I then used Kindred Stamps Liquid Adhesive to adhere this panel to an A2-sized piece of brown cardstock.

I die cut the “Shit” Word Die so that the words were white, and the background was the same brown as the A2-sized frame piece. I also took the sentiment “sorry you feel like” and heat embossed it in white on brown paper, which was then trimmed into a small strip. I adhered the word die and sentiment strip with Kindred Stamps Liquid Adhesive directly to my card. I also used foam tape to adhere my poop image.

To finish this card off, I adhered some Not So Heavy Metal Sequins on my card with Kindred Stamps Liquid Adhesive, and adhered the card to an A2-sized card base. My first project was complete!

For my 2nd Poop project, I made an easel card with no coloring (the Copic markers in the photo were purely for photo staging). To make my easel card, I cut out a card base with my Cricut Explore Air 2. (which basically looked like 2 poop pieces that are mirror images of each other, joined at the top), along with the card front which is the same poop shape as the base, but also with a frame! I die cut out my base and scored at 2 placed: directly in the center so the card would fold, and then about an inch from the bottom base, so that I could be able to prop my card up and use the Easel feature!

I took the light brown piece of cardstock, placed the Poop Stencil over it, and blended with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I removed the stencil, then distressed the edges of this panel as well. I adhered it with Kindred Stamps Liquid Adhesive to a dark brown piece of cardstock, cut into a large shape of the poop, which gave it a nice frame. I then heat embossed the sentiment “well shit” to the front side in the bottom right corner, and also the sentiment “welcome to the shit show” in white on the inside of the card.

To put my card together, I adhered my front poop panel to the bottom area before the score line of my card base (you don’t want to adhere this entirely to your front card base, because the easel feature will not work). I also adhered a brown button inside the card, which would act as an anchor to hold your poop easel in place! I finished this card off by adhering a few Not So Heavy Metal sequins to the inside, and was complete!

For my final Poop project, I really wanted to highlight the emoji face you can add to the poop! So, I colored up 3 poop images with Copic Markers, where I colored 2 in the same way I colored them in my first project, and the 3rd was colored a little lighter with less detail so you could see the face ok. I fussy cut my poop piles out and set them aside.

Next, taking an A2-sized piece of blending cardstock, from top to bottom, I blended Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink. I spritzed this with water to get some bleach marks, let it dry, then flicked Ground Espresso Distress Ink onto the panel.

I stamped the sentiment “thanks for putting up with my crap” in Versafine Clair Ink, along with a pattern of the little fly images from the Poop set as well! I adhered the poop images to my card with foam tape, and then adhered some Not So Heavy Metal Sequins with Kindred Stamps Liquid Adhesive. I adhered the panel to an A2-sized card base and was complete!
