Beware! It’s the i-Crafter September 2020 Release!

Hello my crafty friends! Today is a very exciting day for me, and I hope for you as well, because today I am sharing my very first project as an official member of the i-Crafter Inspiration Team! It’s time for the September release, and let me tell you, this release is just packed with so many products that will give you those amazing Fall vibes!

To kick off the September Release, I am sharing a project I made using the new Tunnel Card, Halloween Add-On die set, which is used in conjunction with the Tunnel Card Base, Swan die set. This die set creates this perfect little spooky scene, consisting of a haunted house, spooky trees, a bat-ridden night sky, and a bunch of fun little die cut shapes to help make your scene SCREAM that it’s ready for Halloween!

I wanted to use some fun patterned paper for this project, and I had a 6″ x 6″ paper pad in my stash that had some coordinating designs. I selected 3 patterns, and used the Tunnel Card, Swan base with each of the Tunnel Card, Halloween Add-On scene dies, while using the Self Mending Mat in my die cutting sandwich, to create the following cut out scenes (images below):

I loved using 2 dark patterns (especially that spooky eye pattern on the Spooky Tree panel), and using them to sandwich the center orange striped piece.

I also used some glitter cardstock from my stash to die cut out the little design pieces from this set, which include: 2 different pumpkins, rickety gates, a “beware” sentiment, and an adorable ghost (the latter of which did must have gotten shy and went invisible for the picture below):

I adhered these adorable little pieces to my Spooky Tree and Haunted House panels using a tape runner, which you will see later in this post!

I also used my glitter cardstock to back my last of the 3 Tunnel Card Panels, to help give the moon and the bats some glittery shine!

Putting these tunnel cards together are super easy. For the Spooky Tree panel, I used a bone folder to firmly fold each of the creases so that it created a squared-“U” shape that went behind the panel. I did the opposite for the Spooky Sky panel, and used my bone folder to make a “U” shape IN FRONT of the the panel. Taking the Haunted House panel, I used scissors and cut along the scoring lines on each side that were closest to the center of the card (I imagined this center part serves as the base).

Using a tape runner (double sided tape works here as well!), I ran tape along the side of the scored “U” that would adhere directly to the Haunted House panel, which means running adhesive along 4 different areas. I then adhered the sky panel to the back of the Haunted House panel, and the Spooky Tree panel in front. I was very careful to make sure that the panels lined up evenly, so that my card would lie flat!

And that’s how I put my tunnel card together!

Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog today and checking out this amazingly spooky new Tunnel Card, Halloween Add-On die set, part of the i-Crafter September Release! Be sure to head on over to the i-Crafter website to see all the fun new products available!
