Hello all you spellbinding crafters! Today is the 3rd and final day of The Rabbit Hole Designs Release Week, and we are featuring the new 4″ x 4″ set Cocktail Witch!
This set features an adorably curvy witch enjoying her alcoholic brew of her choosing on a broom! Like all of her other witch sisters that were also released with her, she is incredibly fun to color up, and perfect for your upcoming Halloween projects!
For this project, I colored up the Cocktail Witch with Copic Markers, fussy cut her out and set her aside. There is also a coordinating die set available with this witch as well for those of you who’d prefer those clean die-cut edges!
For my background, I die cut a stitched circle from white cardstock, and distressed the edges with a Yellow Oxide Ink.
For my Background, I used a Forest stencil from my stash to blend my forest edge on the bottom part of a white cardstock A2-sized panel with black dye ink. I masked off my trees, and then blended my sky with some of my favorite purple dye inks and the Cotton Tail Blending Brushes.
Using the Circles and Stars Stencil, I placed the stencil over my panel, while keeping the trees masked still. I applied a solid layer of Silver Glitter Glitz Gel. I removed the stencil and set the panel aside to dry.
Once dry, I heat embossed the sentiment “Just a little bit wicked”, which is also included in the Cocktail Witch set, in silver powder.I adhered my Cocktail Witch to my stitched circle die, and adhered the unit to my card using foam tape.
I adhered a couple The Rabbit Hole Designs sequins to my project, and mounted the panel to an A2-sized card base. And that’s how I made my card!
