Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!
Hello everyone! While the winter holidays and the start of summer vacation rank amongst some of the best times of the year, I’m here to contribute one more… hearing about the release of a new Kindred Stamps Limited Edition Kit! I am so excited to be sharing a small collection of projects that I created using out newest and sunniest kit, Neighborhood Friends!
As a special addition to the kit, myself and Brianne Firth have jointly colored up all 10 images and recorded them to share with you! You will receive a link to the video color tutorials at a later date after purchasing the Neighborhood Friends kit!
For my first Neighborhood Friends project, I went ahead and used the Large Feathered Friend, Furry Ballerina, Lanky Blue Friend, and Trash Friend with the included Primary Paper Pack! I had a grid die in my stash I used to cut out my white frame, and then cut a square inside of each cut out, coordinating to the color of the friend I was placing over it! I used the buildable sentiments “you’re the best” and “friend”, and finished off with some Prism Enamel Dots!
My 2nd Neighborhood Friends project is an infinity shaker I created with this baked good loving monster! I used the new (and first ever for Kindred Stamps) Layered Chocolate Chip Cookie Stencil to blend up my background, placing it into an acetate sleeve and filling it with the coordinating clay slices! I heat embossed my sentiment using Snowfall Embossing Powder and placed the monster on top with foam tape!
My 3rd Neighborhood Friends card features our Trash Can Friend on a card all of their own. I used the Cookie stencil from the Chocolate Chip Cookie Layered Stencils to make a wonky spotty background for him, framed my panel with a pattern from the Primary Paper Pack, and stamped the sentiment “Don’t be trashy”. I finished this card off with some enamel dots from my stash.
For my 4th and final Neighborhood Friends project, I wanted to show off the amazing Neighborhood Border Craft Die! I simply die cut it from black cardstock and placed it onto a sunrise ombré background! I then heat embossed the sentiments “Hi neighbor” and “Sending sunny wishes” in Clear Embossing Powder, after stamping it in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
I hope these projects leave you excited for the Neighborhood Friends Release!
The Neighborhood Friends Limited Edition Kit will be available on Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 8 AM PST on the Kindred Stamps website. I do have a word of caution regarding these Limited Edition Kits: most of these kits have a tendency to sell out quickly! As there is only a limited number available, I highly recommend trying to purchase these as quickly as you can to ensure you receive one. These are not items that are normally restocked!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I can’t wait to see what you make!
Happy Crafting!
