Giving Thanks for You!

Hello & Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I wanted to pop on today and share a quick post to let you all know grateful I am for being able to share my crafty creations with you all!

I used the Naughty Gobble Me set by Kindred Stamps for the turkey image and sentiment. I wanted to make my background foiled and fuzzy, so I used one of the designs from the Brutus Monroe Floral Fantasy Toner Card Front Mixables by Therm O Web. I first blended the background with Crackling Campfire, Carved Pumpkin, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade & Mustard Seed Distress Inks. I then foiled this with a Brutus Monroe Copper Ripples Foil Transfer Sheet.

I then used the Concave Rectangle Dies by Pink & Main, die cutting the large piece out of Tuscan Gold Flock by Deco Foil, and then the smaller piece from Kraft Cardstock. On the cardstock, I placed the Fancy Fans stencil (retired) by Kindred Stamps over it, and blended Abandoned Coral, Barn Door & Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Inks. I adhered these pieces together and then adhered it directly to the foiled background.

I heat embossed the sentiment “Giving thanks for” from the Gobble Me set in Snowfall Embossing Powder and fussy cut it out. Then, from yellow cardstock, I blended Crackling Campfire & Candied Apple Distress Ink. Using the Finley’s ABCs Lawn Cuts to cut out the word “YOU”, which I stacked 3 times. I adhered my turkey with foam tape, and then the sentiments directly under the turkey.

I finished off my card with a couple glittery enamel dots from my stash, and I was done!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! I wish all of my American friends a very Happy Thanksgiving. I’m crossing my fingers you’ll have a brief moment to sneak away to craft today!
