Hello everyone! Today I am sharing my 2nd card during my time as a Doodle’s Paper Playground Guest Designer! Y’all know that I love playing with color palettes, so when I saw the new Winter Sunrise Sparkle Blend, I had an idea of what I wanted to do! Before I continue, don’t forget you can use code JUSTIN10 on the Doodle’s Paper Playground Etsy shop to save 10% on your order of $10+!
This project uses the retired limited edition Season’s Tweetings by Lawn Fawn that Simon Says Stamp released during their 2020 Stamptember event. It made me laugh that, almost 14 months later, I was using it for the very first time!

I wanted to use a little bit of forced perception for this card, to make it look like birds high up on branches sitting well above a little village!
For my sky, I played around with the colors of the Winter Sunrise Sparkle Blend, and blended up a blend with my Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Villainous Potion and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered my sky with water, gold metallic watercolor, and white acrylic paint to add some extra detail!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope this inspires you to have some fun with your winter color palettes and go and make your very own shaker card!
