If you love creating peaceful winter landscapes, today’s project is for you! I’m sharing a beautiful monochromatic winter scene card featuring Scrapbook.com Exclusive products, including the Nature Borders Die Set, Nested Stitched A2 Rectangles, Simple Sentiments Holiday I, and gorgeous patterned papers from the Neon Ombre and Rustic Duo collections.

I also have a full video tutorial showing exactly how this card came together, from layering the scene to adding subtle ink blending and snowy splatter effects. If you missed the premiere, be sure to catch the replay for all the tips and techniques!

Supplies Used

One of my favorite ways to create depth is by working within a single color family. For this card, I layered die-cut mountains, snowy hills, and pine trees using coordinating shades of blue cardstock and patterned paper to build a clean, dimensional winter landscape. A little ink blending adds soft shadows, while splatters of White Linen Dylusions Ink Spray bring the snowy scene to life.

The stitched frame and simple sentiment keep the focus on the landscape while adding a polished finish. This monochromatic technique is easy to recreate with your favorite colors and works beautifully for holiday cards, winter greetings, or simply building your scene-making skills.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! If you’ve been thinking about trying monochromatic cardmaking, I hope this project inspires you to give it a try.
