Hello, friends! Today, I’m excited to share a fun and colorful project as part of Stencil Theme Week for Pretty Pink Posh! If you love bold backgrounds, layered details, and playful designs, this card is definitely for you. I had a blast creating this party-ready monster card—and I can’t wait to walk you through how it all came together!

Also, what’s great about Stencil Theme Week is that Pretty Pink Posh is offering 20% Off all products in the Stencil Category from their shop to celebrate (expires 4/25/2026)!

🎨 Card Details & Techniques

This design is all about using stencils in creative ways to build texture, color, and personality!

I started by creating a bold, festive background using the Streamers Stencil. By blending multiple ink colors across the stencil, I achieved a bright, layered look that instantly sets a celebratory tone.

Next, I used the Fireworks Stencil in a more unexpected way—adding detail directly onto my monster die cut! This technique creates a fun faux furry texture that gives the character extra dimension and a unique finish.

Behind the monster, I incorporated the Line Bursts Stencil to create a subtle radiating effect. This helps draw the eye inward and highlights the focal point of the card.

To pull everything together, I layered the design using the Pinking Rectangles Dies and added a sentiment strip for a playful finishing touch. The combination of bold color, stencil work, and layered die cuts really brings this party monster to life!

🎉 Wrapping Up

I love how this card shows just how versatile stencils can be—from backgrounds to character details and everything in between. It’s such a fun way to add interest and texture to your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
