Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!
Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful card featuring the Gentle Giraffes Die Set from Altenew—perfect for adding a sweet, heartfelt touch to your handmade cards. This design combines warm yellow tones, playful pattern, and a bit of dimension for a clean yet eye-catching finish.
Card Details
The focal point of this card is the adorable giraffe duo, created by layering and piecing together the Gentle Giraffes Die Set. I used varying shades of yellow and warm neutrals to give them depth and subtle contrast while keeping the overall look cohesive.
For the background, I used the Checkerboard Tiles Background Stencil and blended Fresh Dye Inks to create a bold, graphic pattern. I kept the color palette in the yellow family to complement the giraffes and create that sunny, glowing effect. Light ink splatter adds a bit of texture and movement to the top portion of the card.
To finish the design, I added the “love you” sentiment from the XOXO & More Die Set for a soft, layered look, and embellished with Sun-Kissed Delights Enamel Dots for a touch of shine and dimension.
