Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

🎉 Craft Roulette Recap – What a FUNN Night!

Last Friday, I had the absolute BEST time being a guest on Craft Roulette with Mary Gunn FUNN! If you’ve never watched the show before, it’s a live, anything-can-happen crafting challenge—and let me tell you… it keeps you on your toes in the most fun way possible 😄

The parameters for the night were:

  • Project: Card with a Tag
  • Color: Aquarium
  • Element: March
  • Random: Twist(s)

Be sure to head on over and catch the replay:

And here’s how I brought it all together!

✂️ My Take on the Challenge

I created a playful, colorful card featuring three die-cut tags to meet the “Card with a Tag” requirement. Layering multiple tags (3 tags.. even though I veto’d the 3 Tag Project… I couldn’t believe it!!) added dimension and gave me the perfect base to build my scene.

For the “Aquarium” color prompt, I leaned into a bright and cheerful palette—mixing orange, yellow, greens, aqua, teal, brown, and gray to create something vibrant and full of life.

The “March” element came together with some adorable marching ants (how perfect is that?!). I used the Crazy Antics set to bring in that whimsical movement across the design.

And for the “Twist(s)”, I added some twisted twine tied into a bow—a simple detail that finished off the tags and checked that box in a fun way.

🛍️ Supplies Used

Here’s a quick list of what I used to create my card:

Stamps & Dies:

  • Lawn Fawn – Crazy Antics Stamp Set
  • Lawn Fawn – Crazy Antics Coordinating Dies
  • Lawn Fawn – Tag You’re It Die Set

Paper:

  • Lawn Fawn – Watercolor Wishes Petite Paper Pack

Inks:

  • Distress Oxide – Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers
  • Distress Ink – Vintage Photo, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Crackling Campfire
  • Simon Hurley Create – Clear Skies Stellar Ink

💬 Final Thoughts

This was such a funn challenge and an amazing experience! Craft Roulette really pushes you to think creatively and just go for it—which is honestly one of my favorite parts of crafting.

If you missed it live, I definitely recommend catching the replay. It’s full of inspiration, laughs, and a whole lot of crafty chaos (the good kind 😉).

Thanks so much to everyone who tuned in and cheered me on—it truly meant a lot! 💛

Happy Crafting!
