Scrapbook.com- Saying Yeehaw with Denim

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello, friends! Today, I am sharing a card that showcases a theme inspired by the fabric, denim! I recently received the Wavy with Dotted Accents A2 Cover Plate Die by Scrapbook.com, and immediately thought of a fun way to use this set to almost look like denim patchwork, and I am so excited to share it with you!

Below is a list of products that I used to create this card:

Howdy & Yeehaw Stamp Set by Scrapbook.com
Wavy with Dotted Accents A2 Cover Plate Die
Yeehaw Sentiments Decorative Die Set by Scrapbook.com
Mixed Media A2 Cardstock Pad- White by Scrapbook.com
Sunshine A2 Smooth Cardstock Pad by Scrapbook.com
Mixed Metallic 6×8 Glitter Paper Pad by Scrapbook.com
Distress Inks: Prize Ribbon & Chipped Sapphire
Frosting Embossing Powder by Pink & Main
Embossing Watermark Ink Pad by Pink & Main
Cloudy Day Glitter Enamel Dots by Scrapbook.com
Sakura 10 Classic Gelly Roll Pen- White

This card was actually really fun and easy to pull together. I used the light blue paper included in the Sunshine Smooth Paper Pad and die cut it with the Wavy with Dotted Accents A2 Cover Plate Die. Then, I took each die cut bit, and distressed the edges with Prize Ribbon & Chipped Sapphire, along with splattering the die cuts with the Chipped Sapphire Ink as well. I adhered the bits to an A2-size card base, and then I took my Sakura Gelly Roll Pen and hand drew the little stitch marks.

Taking the Howdy & Yeehaw stamp set, I also stamped various star and heart images throughout the card in Prize Ribbon Distress Ink to add a little embellishment.

For the sentiments, I die cut the “Yeehaw” sentiment from a rose gold glitter paper included in the Mixed Metallics Glitter Paper Pad, and the outline from White Mixed Media cardstock. I adhered the metallic sentiment on top of the white outline. I also heat embossed the sentiment “You’re still the one” from the Howdy & Yeehaw stamp set on dark blue paper, cut into a small strip, in Frosting Embossing Powder. I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment pieces to my card, and finished by applying some glitter enamel dots! My card was fully complete!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today for a little denim inspiration! I hope this card gives you some ideas for how you can make your cover dies from Scrapbook.com look like some of your favorite prints and fabrics for your next project!

Happy Crafting!
