Kindred Stamps October Release- Kindred Town: Pizza and Italian

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello, friends! We are just a few days away from the end of October, which means the Kindred Stamps October Release is upon us! For my sneak peeks, we’re going to head back over to the newest building in Kindred Town as I introduce the new Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian stamp set! This 4″ x 6″ stamp set is gonna get you in the mood for pasta, cannolis and maybe even an Aperol Spritz because it just LOOKS delicious!

I went in and paired this new set with a couple older existing sets to really show you the versatility of just a few ways you can use this new set!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian Stamp Set
Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian Outline Dies
Turtley Awesome
Pizza Night Paper Pack
Cityscape Craft Die
Clear Embossing Powder

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Distress Oxide Inks: Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Hickory Smoke & Black Soot
Twilight Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink

For my first Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian project, I created a square card that shows everyone’s favorite crime-fighting turtles going out for their favorite food: pizza! This card was just so much fun to put together, especially as I was able to create a full scene using the Cityscape Craft Die to make it look like this Pizza Restaurant is sitting in the middle of New York City! Also, I used the brand new Pizza Night Paper Pad to help give this card a fun pizza-themed frame as well!

Pro-Tip: Stretch the use of your pigment inks and use them as a base for embossing powder! I am a huge advocate for Versafine Clair inks, as I have not met another pigment ink with as crisp of an impression! I just love using these inks with Clear Embossing Powders!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian Stamp Set
Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian Outline Dies
Puppy Love Stamp Set
Pizza Night Paper Pack
Tree Scene Craft Die
Snowfall Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink Pad

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Distress Oxide Inks: Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, & Black Soot
Distress Inks: Pine Needles & Black Soot

For my 2nd Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian project, I am creating an Italian Date Night scene card just perfect for any dog lover! I grabbed the Puppy Love stamp set and thought I would set the scene for some spaghetti sharing, and all we’re missing is a man walking out the door of the restaurant with an accordion! Also, bonus points if you clocked the little bit of paper that I used from the Pizza Night Paper Pack to create a red and white checkered table top!

Pro-Tip: Did you mess up your sentiment? Cover it up! If you stamp your sentiment out onto another piece of paper, you can carefully fussy-cut it out and place it directly on top of your oopsie!

Kindred Town: Café Vibes Stamp Set
Career Day: Books Stamp Set
Cityscape Craft Die
Card Basic Dies
Bare Tree Craft Dies
Cherries on Top Paper Pack
Snowfall Embossing Powder
Watermark Ink Pad

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Distress Oxide Inks: Shabby Shutters, Crushed Olive, Twisted Citrón, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Vintage Photo, Hickory Smoke & Black Soot

For my final Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian card, I wanted to use some of the smaller elements from the set to create a city park scene card! I decided to color up the bench and the smaller building, and pair it with the Career Day: Books & the Kindred Town: Café Vibes stamp sets to create a card with a girl reading under a tree! I also came up with an idea to combine the stitched circle from the Card Basics Die Set and the Bare Trees Craft Dies to create a not-so-bare tree!

Pro-Tip: Play with perspective in your cards. Sometimes, I feel that one of the best things you can do in a scene card is use small elements in the background to look like you are creating a fully fleshed out scene!

And there you have it! 3 cards using the brand new Kindred Town: Pizza & Italian stamp set!
