Scary Christmas, friends! I am so excited to be kicking off the Kindred Stamps October Release with the brand new holiday stamp set: Merry Krampus! This 3″ x 4″ stamp set features Krampus carrying a child in his sack, and a few sentiments as well to make some creepy holiday cards!

Be sure to stick around for the end of the blog post for my list of Copic Markers I used to color up my images!

I have created 3 cards using the Merry Krampus stamp set, so let’s get to the details!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Merry Krampus Stamp Set
Bare Trees Craft Dies

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Blending Cardstock
Colored Cardstock
Distress Oxide Inks: Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo & Black Soot
Woodgrain Cardstock
Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
Acrylic Paint
Foam Tape
Liquid Adhesive

For my 1st Merry Krampus stamp set, I wanted to create a mini-slimline scene card that showed Krampus walking through a spooky forest with a blood red sky. I used red cardstock as the base for my background, blended the edges with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink, and splattered some white acrylic paint on the background. I also used a wavy stitched die from my stash to create some snowy hills, which I ink-blended the bottom with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink. I used the Bare Trees Dies to die cut some trees from woodgrain cardstock, and distressed the trees with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.

For my 2nd Merry Krampus card, I created an A2-sized card with Krampus creeping on top of a Barn Die Cut in the middle of the night. I created my background by blended up blue cardstock with Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks, along with splattering some white acrylic paint. I also used the Tree Scene Craft Die to make a forested element to my background as well! For my sentiment, I used Snowfall Embossing Powder to make my “Krampus is coming to town” sentiment really pop!

Card Basics Die Set
Christmas Trees Stencil
British Invasion Paper Pack
Snowfall Embossing Powder

Laura Kelly Transfer Foil- Wagon Red

For my final Merry Krampus card, I made a foiled creation combining a foiled Toner Card Front and some patterned paper from the British Invasion Paper Pack. I did some creative layering using colored cardstock and vellum, where I die cut a circle frame from black cardstock using the Card Basics Die Set, and then die cut a vellum circle using the same die set. I used the Christmas Trees Stencil to blend Distress Oxide Inks directly onto my vellum. I finished off my card by embossing my sentiment in Snowfall Embossing Powder and adhering a couple Iridescent Bubble Embellishments
