Hello friends! I am so excited to introduce to you one of the brand new sets by Kindred Stamps sets that is part of tomorrow’s September Release: Sherwood! I have been WAITING for this stamp set for a very long time, and that fox bandit truly holds my heart!

I have 5 projects to share with you, so let’s share the richness this set has to offer!

My first Sherwood project had to feature my favorite fox bandit! Here I used the Forest Craft Die to make a night time forest scene! I used some Distress Oxide Inks to blend up a night sky. I used the Grass & Tree Dies to really amp up the scene with some ink blending, along with propping the whole scene onto a piece of paper from the Showtime Paper Pack!

For my 2nd Sherwood Card, I used the fair fox maiden to make a very delicate and glitter card. I created a background by blending Distress Oxide Inks and then using the Doily Stencil to add some Lovely Lavender Glitz Glitter Gel! I just love how that turned out! I framed this card with the pink striped paper from the Showtime Paper Pack, and used Snowfall Embossing Powder to create my sentiments.

For my 3rd Sherwood project, I wanted to create a project truly regal using this Royal Lion! I used the crown printed paper from the Day in the Park Paper Pack to create a background for this guy, which I also customized with some vellum and die cuts from the Card Basics Die set. I wanted to frame this card in something really rich, so I picked out some Gold Shattered Glass from my stash and used it as a frame for this card panel using a Toner Sheet!

For my 4th Sherwood Project, I created a bookmark using the not so little sidekick from the set! I also embellished the bookmark with a little tab, ink-blended with the Paw Prints stencil and some sequins!

For my final Sherwood project, I just HAD to make sure to get this Chicken Maiden on her very own card! I adore this character so much and love that she is included in this set! I crated a foiled background using a Floral Fantasy Toner Sheet, ink blended in Distress Oxide Inks and foiled with Glass Slipper Deco Foil. I then created another panel for this card using the Moroccan Tiles stencil with the same Distress Oxide Ink Colors. I used the Snowfall Embossing Powder to make this sentiment pop, and finished it off with a couple Iridescent Bubble Embellishments!

And there you have it! My 5-piece collection of cards using the new Sherwood set!

  1. I almost squealed out loud when I saw this set. This was my favorite film when I was a tot. I had a coloring book of it.

    Your projects are FANTASTIC!
