Strong Coffee Greetings

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a card I created filled with lots of caffeine and love as it shows of the new Mom Life stamp set by Pink & Main, part of the April Release! This set is just too dang cute, and features 3 different mamas who definitely look like they could use a long nap and a little TLC!

This blog post is also being featured on the Pink & Main blog today, so be sure to head on over and give them some love by clicking here!

I started by coloring up the mama at her laptop and coffee cup with my Copic Markers and cutting her out with the Mom Life coordinating dies. I set them aside for later!

My blue background was pretty easy to make. I took a piece of light aqua cardstock, stamped the stars and moon stamp all over with a darker aqua ink, and die cut it with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 1 die set.

I then cut a strip of white blending cardstock and die cut it on an angle using the same rectangle die for the blue background. I used tape to mask off the bottom, which I blended up with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink. I switched the mask to cover the brown ink and blended Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks, which I also spritzed with a little water and dried. I used the Anti-Static Brush (coming next month!) to brush the angled strip, stamped a black pigment ink, and then heat embossed with our Clear Embossing Powder. I just love this sentiment, as I am a huge sucker for coffee sentiments!

I adhered my angled strip to my light aqua background with liquid adhesive, and then adhered the sleeping mama and coffee cup with foam tape. I finished off my card by adhering a few Cool Jellies Gems, adhered my card to an A2-sized card base, and was completed!
