Kindred Stamps April Release: Career Day Police & Naughty Police Add-On

Hello everyone, and happy Kindred Stamps April Release week! Today. I am so excited to be sharing not 1, but 2 brand new stamp sets that will be dropping into the Kindred Stamps website this Friday at 8 AM PST! Introducing the newest edition to the Career Day Line, we’ve got the Career Day: Police set and the Naughty Police Add-On!

I’ve got 4 projects that I created using this set, and let’s get into the details!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Career Day: Police Stamp Set
Naughty Police Stamp Set
Football Field Slimline Stencil
Snowfall Embossing Powder

Other Products Used:
Distress Oxide Inks: Antique Linen, Fossilized Amber, Brushed Corduroy, Hickory Smoke & Black Soot
Copic Markers
Blackout Ink by Ink on 3
Copic Coloring Paper
Blending Cardstock
Foam Tape

For my first Career Day: Police project, I really wanted to do something a little nonconventional. Going through my stash, I found my Football Field Slimline stencil and an idea clicked… to use it as a mugshot-themed card! I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend up a background to look like a yellow wall and gray floor. Then, I masked the center part of the Football Field Slimline stencil and ink-blended some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink over the stencil to create my mugshot wall! The convict image from the Career Day: Police set was going to be so perfect for this card.

The sex joke sentiment comes from the Naughty Police stamp set, and it just makes me crack up! I heat embossed the sentiment with Snowfall Embossing Powder for a little extra pop.

For my 2nd Career Day: Police project, I wanted to create something with some shimmer and texture. I grabbed a Chic Chevron Toner Card Front from my stash and foiled it with Brilliant Blue Fancy Foil. I also used the Hello Craft Die and die cut a piece of Ruby Red Flock because I liked the variance of texture for the card! I used a colored up Male Cop from the Career Day: Police set and the sentiment from the Naughty Police set to pull my card together!

For my 3rd Career Day: Police and Naughty Police project, I wanted to use the male cop and the police car colored up! I made a shortcut scene card by using one of the papers from the Grunge Paper Pack as a backdrop, and some strips of paper to serve as the street and sidewalk! I popped on a sentiment from the Naughty Police set, which I heat embossed with Snowfall Embossing Powder. I finished this card with a few Portland Sequins.

For my final project using the Career Day: Police & Naughty Police sets, I used (1) colored up female police officer and (1) police dog images to create a simple card layout. I used some of the shapes from the Card Basics set to die cut for my card. I also made a very subtle background print using the Stars & Stripe Stencil with Pumice Stone Oxide Ink. I stamped the handcuffs from the Naughty Police set to help build my background as well. I love how the blues and the golds work together to make this card pop!
