Happy Birthday, You Party Animal!

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing this super adorable birthday card I created using the new Party Animal stamp set, along with some other brand new products from the Pink & Main March Release!

Note: this blog post is also being featured over on the Pink & Main Blog as well! Be sure to head on over and give them some love by clicking here!

I started this card off by coloring up the turtle, panda and doggy images from the Party Animal stamp set with Copic Markers, and then cut them out using the Coordinating Dies. I set them aside for later.

Using the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 1 dies, I die cut the light blue stripe pattern from the Year Round Dots and Stripes 6″ x 6″ paper pack. I then die cut a 2.25″ x 5.5″ strip from the lime green polka dot print from the same paper pack. I then cut a 2″ x 5.5″ panel of white paper and embossed it using the Grid Embossing Folder. I adhered the white embossed strip to the lime green strip, and then the unit to the blue striped card panel.

For my sentiment, I grabbed the Large Sentiment Strips Die Set, die cut a banner, and heat embossed the sentiment “You Party Animal” in white powder. I adhered the sentiment and each of the critters with foam tape. I finished off this card by applying some Silver Glossy Dots to my panel, and it was complete!
