Kindred Stamps January Release- One For Me

Hello everyone! The last Friday of the month is just a couple days away, and that means it’s time for the Kindred Stamps January Release! Today, I’m feeling a little virtual and overly excited to be sharing a set of 4 projects that I created using the brand new One For Me stamp set! This 4″ x 6″ stamp has 4 super cool characters, a handful of sentiments that, as always, match them perfectly, and a little detail image stamp of a pill!

Let’s get to my collection:

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
One For Me Stamp Set
Circuits Stencil
Snowfall Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink Pad

Other Products Used:
Copic Markers
Colored Cardstock
Distress Inks: Hickory Smoke & Black Soot
Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco
Deco Foil Transfer Sheets- Lily Pad
Sparkle Silk
Foam Tape

For my first One for Me project, I used the buttoned up trench coat guy and the girl image from the stamp set and wanted to put them on a background that was all sorts of black and green! I decided to use a foiling technique for the background. I started with a greenish gray cardstock, and blended it with my distress inks to give a good dark gray feel. Using the Circuits Stencil, I went over it with the transfer gel, let it dry, and ran it through my laminator with my Lily Pad Transfer Foil Sheet.

I just loved how this turned out! The green pops so well against the dark background, and I didn’t even feel the need to embellish further!

This card was actually REALLY easy to make and an entire after thought after making the card I posted before this! The background to this card is just a foiled negative of card one, and I was able to transfer the negative onto a toner sheet! I decided to use the XOXO word die to make a fun tech-themed love card, where the sentiment comes from the new One For Me stamp set!

Pro Tip: If you love to foil, you NEED some full toner sheets! They are such a good way to use those negative foil pieces, and really stretch your crafting stash!

For my 3rd One for Me stamp set, I wanted to make a card that just had this baddie stamped all over the background. So after I colored one image up with my Copic Markers and fussy cut them out, I took the same image and stamped it all over a white background with black ink. Once dry, I splattered the same white panel with 2 different green inks for a little embellishment.

With a quick sentiment strip, and some Prism enamel dots embellishments, I was able to very quickly pull this background together!

For my final One for Me Project, I wanted to play around with some paper that I created by layering up a city skyline die cut from my stash. I die cut the skyline multiple times from 3 different colored papers, and layered them onto a panel and got a really cool look with it. I took the bald boss from One for Me and put him onto a vellum square that was die cut from the Card Basics set. I heat embossed my sentiment directly onto the vellum as well for a fun effect!
