Hello everyone, and welcome to the Kindred Stamps October Release! I am doing my happy dance today because I can finally share with you the projects I created using the brand new set, You’ve Got Mail! This adorable 4″ x 4″ stamp set is going to bring back all those memories of you, or that special kiddo in your life, turning on the tv in the morning for some colorful learning programs!
Let’s get to the projects!

For my first You’ve Got Mail project, I used the man and dog images to blend up a sweet little A2 card that is so many shades of blue! I used the Heart Layers stencil to blend up a blue heart as the focal part of my image, and then used the Swirly Bits stencil to add some light blending to the outer portions of my cards main panel! I just adore that this stamp set comes with a little paw print image, which I stamped in dark blue ink to add a couple more embellishments to my card!
Pro Tip: Don’t be afraid to go for a monochromatic look for your card! It can be really fun to use multiple shades of the same color!

For my 2nd You’ve Got Mail project, I decided to make a sliding card that looks like this little bar of soap is slipping and sliding all over the place! I used the Pull & Slide Die set underneath one of the sentiment strip dies, so it was perfectly hidden, and connected my little bar of soap to my slider with a piece of acetate (you can barely notice it)!
I wanted to go with a bubble look for the background, and thought it would be really fun to break out one of my Laura Kelly Toner Sheets to give it that look! I paired it with some Prince Periwinkle Deco Foil for a really great bubbly purple look to it!
Pro Tip: Have fun with your interactive dies, and set some time to just play around with them. You may come up with some really neat ideas on how you can use them to make your next project pop!

For my 3rd You’ve Got Mail project, I decided to create a fun little living room scene that featured every character from the set! I used the Stars & Stripes Stencil as a wallpaper of sorts for the room, and also hand drew the furniture and little frame for the wall! I felt really comfortable creating this scene, because, even though I do not consider myself a sketch artist by any measure, the simplicity of the designs for the room were fairly easy to draw!
Pro Tip: When creating a scene, don’t forget that the little elements really help out the final product! A couple embellishments can really help bring everything together and make your scene look very thought out!

For my final You’ve Got Mail project, I decided to make a shaker tag using the salt and pepper shakers from the stamp set! The Card Builder Basics die set allows you to so easily make a circle shaker, which really made this tag come together quickly for me! I used the Confetti Stencil in the background of the shaker to add a little extra embellishment to my panel, and give the illusion of some extra bits in the background!
Pro Tip: For shakers, it is really great to make sure to use an anti-static tool along the edges of your foam tape. This will prevent any of your little bits from sticking to places and making your shaker not work as effectively!
