i-Crafter November Release- Find Joy in the Journey

Hello everyone! I don’t know about you, but I have had such a travel itch lately, but am of course staying home and staying safe given the state of everything! So, I am incredibly excited to bring a little traveling love to you today with the new i-Crafter November release!!

For today’s project, I am featuring the Hello World Die Set and the Wonderful World Stamp Set! Both sets are incredibly fun, with the Wonderful World Stamp Set featuring some really fun script sentiments, and then the Hello World Die Set features a bunch of really cool dies that are perfect for any sort of travel themed project (as I’m typing this, I’m realizing how well it would compliment a vacation spread in a scrapbook)!

To put my project together, I used the globe shaped die cut (with no insert at all), and die cut both a gray globe piece, and then a blue alcohol ink globe piece as well. Next, I placed one of the land inserts into the globe (the piece I picked displays North and South America), and die cut a globe piece from cardstock I had blended with green ink! I trimmed off the stand piece from the alcohol ink die cut and the land die cut, and adhered the land on top of the alcohol ink. I then adhered the entire unit to the gray globe die cut, and this only allowed the stand part to peek through. This way, it gave a nice separation to to land, the sea, and the stand!

Next, I took the banner piece from the Hello World Die Set and die cut a banner from white cardstock. I took some tape to section off the end pieces of the banner, and used my i-Brush Blender Brush with Weathered Wood Distress Ink to add some shading to the banner. I then took the sentiment “Find Joy in the Journey” from the Wonderful World Stamp Set, and stamped it directly onto the banner in blue ink.

To put this card together, I die cut a tag from the Zip Gift Tag Die Set from patterned paper, along with 2 other rectangular pieces of patterned paper (the largest being A2-sized) and adhered them together. I adhered the globe piece onto the card, and then used foam tape to adhere the sentiment banner.

To finish this card up, I adhered a bow of blue and white twine on the top of the tag, adhered some clear and blue embellishments, and adhered the piece to an A2-sized card base. And that’s how I made the card!

Be sure to head on over to the i-Crafter website to check out all the fun new release sets (there is a Mini Album die set that I think everyone will just LOVE).

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, and Happy Crafting!
