How to Make a Delightful Hot Air Balloon Card

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

There’s just something about hot air balloons that makes a handmade card feel instantly happy! For this project, I created a colorful hot air balloon card using Mirisha Dean’s SBC Fest Instructor Kit from Scrapbook.com, adding my own color palette and creative touches along the way.

The card combines layered die cuts, colorful ink techniques, and dimensional texture for a finished design that feels playful and full of movement. I especially love how the bold balloons pop against the deep blue background and the texture created with the Harlequin 3D Embossing Folder.

Let’s Get Crafty!

I love taking a kit or collection and putting my own spin on it, and this project was a perfect opportunity to experiment with bold colors and layered elements. Whether you’re creating a birthday card, a cheerful encouragement card, or simply want to try a new scene-building idea, hot air balloons make a fun focal point.

Thanks so much for stopping by and crafting along with me!

Happy crafting,
