Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!
Today I’m sharing another project created as part of my time as an Altenew Ambassador, featuring a bright and cheerful rainbow-inspired card that’s perfect for celebrations all year long. With June being Pride Month, I thought this colorful design was a wonderful reminder to celebrate love, joy, and individuality.
For this card, I used the Abstract Landscape Cover Die to create a modern scene filled with bold rainbow colors. One of my favorite techniques on this project was turning cardstock scraps into my own custom glitter paper by applying Iridescent Glitter Relief Paste over blended cardstock pieces. The result is a gorgeous sparkle that catches the light beautifully and gives new life to leftover scraps.
To assemble the design, I used an inlay die-cutting technique to fit each colorful section back into the cover die for a clean, detailed finish. I also stacked multiple die cuts from the Stylish Greetings 2 Die Set to add dimension to the sentiment without using foam tape, creating a sturdy layered focal point.
A few Crystal Clear Enamel Dots completed the card with subtle shine and texture.

I love how this card combines simple techniques with bold color and sparkle. It’s a great reminder that even cardstock scraps can become something beautiful with a little creativity—and a touch of glitter! 💙
