Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Howdy, y’all! The Kindred Stamps May Release is almost here, and it is packed with charm, friendship, laughter, and a whole lot of southern-inspired fun! Today I’m sharing four cards featuring the brand new Southern Women Stamp Set, along with the gorgeous new Blush and Bashful Patterned Paper Pack from this release.

This stamp set is full of sweet friendships, witty sentiments, and iconic southern-inspired characters that are perfect for friendship cards, encouragement cards, and just-because happy mail. I paired these images with soft florals, warm ink blending, and plenty of sparkle to create cards that feel both heartfelt and playful.

Let’s take a closer look at each project!

Strong as Steel, Soft as a Magnolia Card

For my first card, I wanted to highlight the full cast of characters included in the Southern Women Die Cuts I arranged all of the ladies across a softly ink blended background using warm pink and peach tones to create a cheerful southern sunset vibe.

To add extra interest, I splattered the background with coordinating ink and finished the card with gold embellishments for a little sparkle. The sentiment, “Strong as steel, soft as a magnolia,” perfectly captures the heart of this stamp set and makes this card feel both empowering and elegant.

Keep Blooming Floral Friendship Card

This next card combines the Southern Women Stamp Set with the beautiful new Blush and Bashful Patterned Paper Pack. I used one of the bold floral patterns as the backdrop and layered stitched circles to help frame the two characters.

The soft floral details paired with the “Keep Blooming” sentiment create such a sweet encouragement card. I also added gold embellishments throughout the design to tie everything together and give the card a polished finish.

Big Hair, Bigger Hearts Card

This card may be one of my favorites from the release! I paired two adorable characters from the Southern Women Stamp Set with soft pink patterned papers from the Blush and Bashful Patterned Paper Pack for a light and feminine look.

The sentiment about “big hair, bigger hearts, and the best gossip” adds the perfect touch of humor and southern charm. I kept the layout fairly clean and simple so the characters and sentiment could really stand out.

Laugh. Cry. Repeat. Friendship Card

For my final project, I created a friendship card featuring two of the characters from the Southern Women Stamp Set layered over elegant patterned paper from the Blush and Bashful Patterned Paper Pack.

I used warm yellow ink blending behind the images to help draw attention to the center of the card while still keeping the overall design soft and delicate. The “Laugh. Cry. Repeat.” sentiment feels so relatable and perfectly captures those lifelong friendships that can carry us through absolutely everything.
