Hello Everyone! It’s the 25th of the month, so that means it’s time for another Crafty Christmas Club Blog Hop!
Today I am sharing a set of gift tags that I had made using the (retired) Plastic Friends Stamp set by Kindred Stamps! I had wanted to use this set for a while to make a holiday project, so I am very excited that I finally was able to create something!
These tags were pretty easy to make too. First, I colored all my Plastic Friends with Copic Markers, fussy cut them out and set them aside.
Next, using the Arched Stitched Tag Die by Gina Marie Designs, I cut out 4 tags from a sheet of white Neenah Classic Crest 110# Cardstock in Solar White. I used a foam blending tool to solidly blend a layer of Abandoned Coral Distress Ink. Next, I took the Candy Cane stencil by Kindred Stamps, placed it over the tags individually, and solidly blended a layer of Fired Brick Distress Ink. I spritzed the tags with water, and then splattered them with some excess Fired Brick Distress Ink.
For the sentiment, I used the buildable sentiment “Hope your Christmas” and “(Jingle Bell) Rocks” from the Lawn Fawn set Here We Go A-Waddling. Using red cardstock, I heat embossed the sentiments in white powder and trimmed them down into strips that would fit across the tag.
Using foam tape, I adhered (1) sentiment strip and (1) character to each tag, and then used the Doodles Paper Playground Merry Mint pack to add a couple red and white sequin embellishment to the tags.
To finish these off, I punched a hole at the top of each tag and tied a red and white string for each one.
And that’s how I made my tags!
