Hello, friends! Today, I am so excited to share you my last Kindred Stamps sneak peek for 2025! Allow me to introduce the brand new Romance Scenes stamp set! This 4″ x 8″ stamp sets brings some of your favorite moments from romantic fandoms to life, and are just PERFECT for upcoming Valentine’s Day Cards!
I’ve got little tips to share with each of my cards, and be sure to stick around at the end of this post for all of the Copic Marker Combinations used to color up my images!
The Dancing Couple from Romance Scenes made me want to bring a movie poster to life! I used a shortcut ink-blending technique, where I took a light purple card stock, and built up ink blends using darker purple and black inks. Also, I pulled in the School Bus Craft Dies to help create a light post to put next to this couple as well!
Next, I wanted to feature the Nautical Couple from Romance Scenes in their very own scene card! I used the Entrance Gate Dies to help create the bow of an ocean liner, and incorporated a few ink blending techniques to blend up the ocean and sky!
Partial Scene Cards are one of my favorite to create. When I saw this Row Boat Couple, I knew they needed to be in a scene of their own, but I also wanted to use the lily pad patterned paper from the Mardi Gras Royalty Paper Pack as part of the design as well! Lastly, I love how the sentiment pops with the Snowfall Embossing Powder! It’s a wonderful little detail that really adds a finishing touch!
For my final card using the new Romance Scenes stamp set, I used the Pottery Couple to blend up a spotlight card where I leaned into different grays to make this card subtle, yet effective. I think this sentiment is hysterical, and fits this couple so perfectly!
