Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!
Hey, friends! Today, I am sharing my very first post as an official member of the 2025 Scrapbook & Cards Today Creative Team! For today’s project, we are leaning into all things Valentine’s Day, but putting a masculine twist on our color scheme. So, out with the purples and pinks, and in with the blues and yellows!

Supplies | Concord & 9th: Pop Hearts Die Set; Scrapbook.com: Candy Smooth Cardstock 6×8 Pad, Pastel Glossy Cardstock 6×8 Pad, White Mixed Media Paper A2 Pad, 3mm 1/4 Inch Double Sided Tape Roll, Spellbinders Platinum 6” Die Cutting Machine- Black (Exclusively at Scrapbook.com), 1” Mint Tape; Picket Fence Studios: White Snowflake Liquid Paper Splatter Watercolor; Pink & Main: Clear Glitter Enamel Dots; My Sweet Petunia: Misti Precision Glue Press
Making a masculine-themed Valentine’s Day card is incredibly easy once you settle on a color palette! In today’s tutorial, I am going to show you just one of the ways that Scrapbook.com Smooth Cardstock Pads make it possible to select colors to fit your project perfectly!
I also love to use a big and bold sentiment for cards with a masculine vibe. The Pop Hearts Die Set by Concord & 9th was perfectly sized to create a striking center element!
I thought it would be fun to create my own patterned paper, so I cut the various Candy Smooth Cardstock and Pastel Glossy Paper colors into strips for a custom striped background.
I am all about extra elements to make your card extra special. With the inclusion of the Glossy Paper along with Paper Splatter Watercolor by Picket Fence Studios, my background had so much shimmer and shine!
