Kindred Stamps January Release- Arcade

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello, friends! Today, I am sharing a sneak peek at the brand new Arcade Stamp Set, and the Arcade Die Set, which are part of the Kindred Stamps January 2025 Release! Normally, I’m coloring up a handful of images with my alcohol markers. So using a die-cut heavy design was definitely a change from what I am used to!

These products are so perfect for your video-game loving friends and family members. I think they’re pretty easy to come together too!

Let’s take a closer look at the projects that I created!

Arcade Die Set
Snowfall Embossing Powder
Embossing Ink Pad

For my first Arcade card, I wanted to use all of the different shape stamps included with the Arcade Stamp Set to craft up an 8-bit inspired confetti background! I had stamped out a few different blue Catherine Pooler Ink Pads, and also blended the edges with Blue Ink as well!

To create my arcade machine, I die cut all of the shapes from different colored cardstock, and then ink blended the edges to make them a tad darker than the cardstock color itself!

Pro-Tip: If you are stamping a background, allow your stamps to go off the edge of the paper! It gives it a more natural look!

For my 2nd and final Arcade card, I really wanted to play around with the “a new player has entered the game” sentiment, as I think this is such a fun sentiment to use for a wedding OR baby card!! While I used it for just a standard layout, I think it could be really fun to create a pair of arcade machines to mimic the marrying couple!

Some of the sentiments in the Arcade stamp set fit perfectly on the screen of the Arcade Machine, and I love how it adds to the theming of the card! Also, because some of the dies in the Arcade Die Set die-cut multiple shapes at once, I had leftover buttons from creating the first card that I was able to re-purpose on this image! It really helped me cut down on die-cutting time!

Pro-tip: I highly recommend using some sort of organizing trays during your crafting to help hold all of your die cuts in place! I use the Stack and Sort Trays from Scrapbook.com to hold all of my die cuts together for a project!
