Picket Fence Studios- Poinsettia Joy

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hello, friends! I am so excited to share a little bit of Christmas Inspiration with you all using the Picket Fence Studios August 2024 Release! When I first saw the Peaceful Christmas Flowers Stamp Set, I had this idea to create a background using all of the images, and then put a nice bold sentiment over them that really pops! The Joy to the World Word Die Set was the PERFECT bold sentiment to use with these stunning festive flowers!

Below is a list of Picket Fence Studios products used to create this card:

Peaceful Christmas Flowers Stamp Set
Joy to the World Word Die Set
Aurora Borealis Gem Mix
Opaque White Paper Splatter

For this card, I started off by taking an A2-sized piece of Alcohol Marker-friendly coloring paper, and I stamped out all of the images in the Peaceful Christmas Flowers in black ink. I used my Copic Markers to color up each of the images, and then masked them with masking paper.

I then ink-blended an ombré of Distress Oxide Inks over the panel: Tumbled Glass, Broken China & Uncharted Mariner. I spritzed the paper with Uncharted Mariner Distress Spritz, and, once dry, splattered the paper with Opaque White Paper Splatter. Once everything was dry, I removed the masks and die cut my panel down to 5.375″ x 4.125″. I adhered this panel to an A2-sized card base.

For the sentiment, I took the dies from the Joy to the World Word Die Set and die cut the “JOY” from white cardstock and the “to the world” from metallic gold die.

I adhered the “JOY” sentiment in the center of the card, and then adhered the “to the world” over it. I adhered a few Aurora Borealis Gems to the card, and I was fully completed!

Thank you so much for stopping by today for some early Christmas Crafting Inspiration! I hope this release provides you with endless ideas of holiday cards that you can create and add to your stash!
