Baja Be Thy Blast with Sassy Club

Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!

Hi friends! Today, I am hopping by with a quick blog post to share a card that I created with some new products from The Sassy Club! The moment I saw the Baja Blessed 4″ x 7″ stamp set, I knew that I needed it because I am a BIG FAN of this establishment! My husband and friend group actually have on going jokes that reference the “baja” in this card, so it’s just the PERFECT set!

Below is a list of products that I used to create this card!

The Sassy Club Products Used:
Baja Blessed Stamp Set
6×6 Shell Yeah Paper Pad

Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Oval Infinity Nesting Dies
Extra Large Sentiment Strip Dies
Distress Oxide Inks: Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio
Catherine Pooler Inks: Garden Party, Shea Butter, Ginger
Liquid Yellow Sunshine Paper Splatter Watercolor
Razzle Dazzle Sequins
Embossing Ink Pad
Snowfall Embossing Powder

I wanted to share a quick bit about how this card came together. I colored up the chihuahua and frozen beverage image from the Baja Blessed Stamp Set with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. For the chips and tacos, I actually was able to stamp those images out using Catherine Pooler Inks (Shea Butter and Garden party for the Taco, Shea Butter and Ginger for the Chips). Once stamped out, I fussy cut those as well.

I had die cut the frozen beverage pattern from the 6×6 Shell Yeah Paper Pad with a 4.125″ x 5.375″ die, and then adhered it to an A2-sized piece of teal cardstock. For the ovals, I used the Oval Infinity Nesting Dies to die cut a yellow oval, and then a slightly smaller oval from blending cardstock. I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend an ombré background, reflective of the colors of beverages in the pattern paper. I used water for bleach spots, and splattered the panel with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink and Liquid Yellow Sunshine Paper Splatter Watercolor. I adhered the 2 panels together, and adhered the unit to the center of my card panel.

Using Snowfall Embossing Powder, I embossed my (2) stacked sentiments onto dark pink paper and die cut them with Extra Large Sentiment Strip Dies. I used a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape to adhere my images and sentiment to my card.

To finish the card, I adhered some sequins and enamel dots, and then adhered the entire unit to an A2-sized card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog tonight for some Fourth Meal inspiration using products from The Sassy Club! I hope this card leaves you hungry to go create your very own fast-food projects!

Happy Crafting!
