For my first Safari Adventures project, I used both of the Duck Friends and put them inside of the new Safari Car die! I thought it would be fun to make it look like the 2 of them are on a drive together, ready to see some animals! I think there are a handful of really fun ways that you can use this new Safari Car die, and you an really play around with how you’d like your images to fit inside!

Also, you are going to see the Welcome to the Jungle paper pack used A LOT for these projects. For this card, I used the cream-colored animal stripes pattern as a background layer. I think it plays off of the colors of this card VERY well, and you’re going to want to snag this paper pack for all your safari crafting!

For my 2nd project, I am using both of the Mice Friends to create a card that doesn’t contain too many elements, and really highlights these 2 adventurers along with this perfectly paired pattern from the Welcome to the Jungle paper pack. I used almost entirely earth tone colors for each of my characters, so I love how this striped pattern really lends itself to the outfits. I debated whether or not I wanted to create a circle shaker window with this card or not, and I actually decided to die cut a vellum circle and use it behind the Mice. I love that It slightly mutes the stripe pattern and gives a nice highlight to the characters.

My 3rd Safari Adventures card takes a clean and simple approach, where I masked off part of my card and ink-blended the lower portion of my card with more earthy tones. I love the incorporation of the silly dog, but also the dark orange ink used ink my ombré, courtesy of Crackling Campfire.

Sometimes when I create, I am more concerned with using specific images rather than using a particular sentiment. I used the “Wishing you herds of happiness” sentiment because it fit so perfectly with this layout, and with the use of the Silly Dog.

Aztec Stencil

Snowfall Embossing Powder

For my 4th and final Safari Adventures card, I used the oversized tree to create a project that utilizes the Aztec stencil for a really pretty background. I decided to once again rely on a Green, Orange and Dark Brown color for my background, and then also tied those colors into the card with the specific pattern of paper selected from the Welcome to the Jungle paper pack and the orange sentiment.

And there you have my 4 projects created using the new Safari Adventures stamp set!
