Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!
Hello friends! Recently, some new friends over at Sizzix reached out and asked if they could send some fun goodies over my way for me to create with. OF COURSE I said yes! They were incredibly generous, sending me a few stamp sets, die sets and embossing folders… But the real star of the show was the new Big Shot Switch Plus that they sent my way too! Let me tell you, my face was about as close as it could possibly get to the emoji with the stars for eyes!
2 of the stamp sets they sent my way were the Crazy Creatures Set 1 Stamp & Die Set, along with the Sunnyside Sentiments Set 02 Stamp Set! I knew I could use these sets together to create a fun card, especially when paired with the Forest Textured Impressions Embossing Folder!
Below is a full list of products that I used to create this card:

I have some key take aways from creating this card to share with you!
- I was able to use the Magic Mat Plus (9″ x 15″) by Scrapbook.com in place of one of the cutting plates for my die cutting sandwich! I highly recommend this as it will help stretch the life of your plates even further!
- I didn’t really have any cardstock that I liked well enough to use to create my hedgehog, so I used Catherine Pooler Inks to color up white cardstock! Catherine Pooler inks are really wonderful for this, and even if your paper looks a little streaky after you apply your ink to it, after letting it sit for a couple minutes, those streaks smooth out a bit more!
- If you have big chunky sentiments that don’t have coordinating dies, I highly recommend fussy cutting around them! Take your time with it, and you’ll get a great result, just perfect for your project!
Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog today to see some of my Sizzix inspiration! I hope this leaves you inspired to go and create some critter-filled cards with your favorite Sizzix products!
Happy Crafting!
