Before we jump into today’s project, I wanted to let you know that I sometimes use affiliate links to share my favorite products. Don’t worry, these links won’t cost you a dime – they’re just little crafty helpers behind the scenes that help support me if you use them to make a purchase! Let’s dive into today’s creative journey together!
Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing a closer look at a card that I created using products in the Berry Sweet collection by Scrapbook.com! There is a stamp set, decorative die set, and an A2 Paper Pad that all coordinate together to help bring your strawberry and cherry creations to life!
Below is a list of products that I used to create this card:
Berry Sweet Stamp Set
Berry Sweet Decorative Die Set
Berry Sweet A2 Paper Pad
Nesting Rectangle Dies
Nesting Circle Dies
Banana Split Pops of Color
Frozen Flurry Pops of Color
Large Foam Squares
Catherine Pooler Inks: Be Mine, Rockin’ Red, Grass Skirt, All That Jazz, & Dress Blues
Liquid Adhesive
Smooth Vellum
Below are some closer images of the card I created!
There are a couple fun techniques that I incorporated into this card that I wanted to highlight!
First, all of the die cut items on this card are distressed on the edges! I just love this effect. By distressing the edges of your die cuts, it adds a great dimension effect to your project!
Next, I went ahead and used a vellum technique to help bring my fruit basket to the forefront of the card. I love that vellum helps maintain the colors of your project, but blurs them a tad so your eye focuses better on other elements!
Finally, I want to talk about my use of the Pops of Color! These are great to help add embellishment to your project, but I also went ahead and used them for the center of my flowers as well! I do have a tip with these, and that’s to make sure you’re careful when applying them so that you don’t accidentally smear them with your hand!
Thank you so BERRY much for stopping by my blog today! I hope this card inspires you to go out and create something sweet with the Berry Sweet Exclusive Collection by Scrapbook.com!
Happy Crafting!
