Hello friends! Justin here, and I just LOVE March at Pink & Main! March is Pink & Main’s Birthday month, and is turning 9 this year! Because March is Pink & Main’s birthday month, Michelle always designs an amazing collection of birthday-themed products to release in March as well! Today, I am sharing a closer look at the new Party Hat Dies, Make a Wish Stamp Set, and the Scattered Stars Stencil!

Below is a list of products I used to create this card:

Now let’s get into the details for how I created this card!

I started this card by grabbing my Make a Wish Stamp Set, stamping my sentiment in Dress Shop Premium Dye Ink, and then heat embossing it with Icicle Embossing Powder. I used the coordinating dies to cut the sentiment out and set it aside for later.

Next, I used the Party Hat Die Set to cut out the hat portion from River Walk Cardstock, and then the little white tassel from Ice Rink Cardstock. I took a piece of Lilac Glitter Paper, included in the Spring Glitter Paper Pack, adhered my River Walk Party Hat on top, and then carefully cut out the hat so that the Lilac Glitter Paper peeped through the polka dot portions. I adhered the white tassel on top and set the unit aside.

For my background, I took an A2-sized piece of blending cardstock and blended the following Distress Oxide Inks from top to bottom: Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina & Shaded Lilac. I spritzed the layer with water to get some bleached spots, and used a craft towel to quickly dry the panel. I placed the Scattered Stars Stencil on top and then blended the following Distress Oxide Inks from top to bottom: Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers & Wilted Violet. I adhered this panel to an A2-sized card base.

I finished my card by adhering my party hat unit and sentiment with foam tape and then I applied a few Floral Hearts Glitter Enamel Dots! My card was complete!
