Kindred Stamps Monthly Naughty Set- Gobble Me

Hello Everyone! With October well underway, it’s really just a matter of time before we all make that shift towards the holiday season (for me, I always look at that season starting October 1st actually!). That being said, why not add a little sass to your Thanksgiving crafty projects this year? Today, I am showing off the new Kindred Stamps Naughty set, Gobble Me, and it is such an incredibly fun addition to your holiday craft stash!

Now, before you go any further, please be warned that there is mature content ahead and to only proceed at your own discretion.

This set comes with an adorable turkey image and some, decently adult containing content sentiments, to give your friends and family a big ole chuckle! I made 2 projects displaying how I used this set, so let’s get to it!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Naughty- Gobble Me Set
Forest Stencil

Other Products Used:
Distress Oxide Inks (Colors listed below)
Fadeout Ink
Grass Dies
Various Buttons

For my first Gobble Me card, I used my Copic Markers with a no-line coloring technique using Ink On 3’s Fadeout Ink. I fussy cut my turkey out and set them aside.

I cut out a 4.125″ x 5.375″ panel of white blending cardstock, and an A2-sized piece of patterned paper. Using the Forest Stencil, I used the Distress Oxide Colors Wild Honey, Barn Door & Crackling Campfire to blend up a splotchy autumn tree look. I used Tumbled Glass and Speckled Egg to blend up the sky, and then Scattered Straw and Brushed Corduroy for the ground (same colors used on the Grass Dies as well).

I determined placement for my turkey, then placed my buildable sentiment “Giving thanks for” and “that ass”, and stamped it in black ink. Because I was stamping on top of Distress Oxide Ink, I used my heat gun to set the ink a tad to reduce the likelihood of smearing. I adhered my grass bits with a tape runner, Gobble Me turkey using Foam Tape, and some various buttons with Art Glitter Designer Adhesive (this stuff works great for embellishments). I took my blended panel and adhered it to my A2-sized panel of patterned paper for a nice frame, adhered it to an A2-sized card base, and was done!

Kindred Stamps Products Used:
Naughty- Gobble Me Set
Whimsical Garden Stencil

Other Products Used:
Distress Oxide Inks (Colors Listed Below)
Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Twine
Brown Cardstock
Not So Heavy Metal Sequin Mix

For my 2nd and final Gobble Me project, I colored my turkey on kraft cardstock with Copic Markers, fussy cut them out and set them aside.

Taking a 4.125″ x 5.375″ piece of blending cardstock, I blended the following Distress Oxide Ink Colors (from top to bottom): Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, and Crackling Campfire. Taking the Whimsical Garden Stencil, I placed it on top of the panel and blended over it entirely with Walnut Stain Distress Ink,. After removing the stencil, I took my foam blending tool and lightly distressed the edges of the panel with the Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I stamped the sentiment “Let’s get basted” onto a white sentiment strip in Walnut Stain Distress Ink, and lightly distressed the edges using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I trimmed the strip down and framed it with brown cardstock. I adhered my sentiment strip into place and used foam tape to adhere my turkey into place as well. I used some cream and gold twine from my stash to wrap around the bottom of the card, which I secured in the back with some tape to hold into place. I also adhered some sequins from the Not So Heavy Metal Sequin Mix with Art Glitter Glue to the card as well.

I covered the back with foam tape and adhered the card to an A2-sized piece of brown cardstock, which I then adhered to an A2-sized card base, and my card was complete!
