Kindred Stamps October Release- Full of Pride

Y’all, I am so excited to share this amazing new set from Kindred Stamps called Full of Pride, which is part of their October Release! It is stacked with amazing sentiments, both standalone and buildable, that can be used for many occasions! I made 4 awesome projects with this incredible set, so let’s get started!

For my 1st project with the Full of Pride set, I made this rainbow ombre card with the sentiment “live your life out and proud”. I knew I had to do at least 1 rainbow project, and was so excited to get this one going! I used a rainbow glitter clear embossing powder on top of white paper to stamp out a background full of glittery rainbows and flags. Then, in black embossing powder, I heat embossed my sentiment.

Did you know that some inks, like the Distress Oxide Inks I used in this project, don’t stick to heat embossed areas? It’s a fun little trick to take your project up to the next level! After I ink blended my rainbow ombre background, I mounted it to an A2 sized card base.

Finally, I took a sunshine yellow A2 sized envelope and lined it with rainbow paper!

For my second Full of Pride project, I wanted to take the long “love is love is love is love” sentiment and use it to make a pride-filled bookmark!

I went into my stencil stash, and there was just something about the Long Hair stencil that reminded me of rainbows! I thought it would make this bookmark perfect!

I cut a piece of 110 lb. cardstock down to 2″ by 6″. I then heat embossed by sentiment in black embossing powder.

I applied some Pixie Spray to my stencil, let it sit for a minute, and applied it to my blank bookmark.

I used different colors for my bookmark than I did for the first card in this post. I wanted this card to have a little more of a pastel feel to it.

When I peeled back my stencil, my eyes lit up because my bookmark turned out exactly as I envisioned!

For my third project, I wanted to do something different. So I decided to take a whack at using foil and boy did this card not disappoint!

I thought the idea of using rainbow hearts would be really cool, so I knew I had to incorporate the Hearts and Dots Stencil with the Full of Pride set!

I took an A2 sized card base, applied Pixie Spray to my stencil, let it stand for about a minute and then placed it onto my card. I used my Stencil Pal to apply my transfer gel into an even layer onto my card.

After letting my transfer gel entirely dry, I applied a rainbow foil transfer sheet (pretty side facing up), put it into a quickly made parchment paper folder, and ran it through my laminator.

For my sentiment, I took a black strip of cardstock and heat embossed the “let your true colors shine” sentiment in white. I also applied some black enamel accents to give the sentiment strip a little more texture.

Finally, because this sentiment talks about letting things shine, I thought rainbow sunglasses would make an awesome envelope liner! So I took my rainbow sunglasses paper and adhered it to a purple envelope.

For my final project, I really wanted to make a card using the amazing pronoun sentiments included in this set. I thought making a card that resembled the Transgender Pride Flag would be a great way to incorporate the sentiments provided in the Full of Pride set!

First, I placed my pronoun sentiments on an acrylic block and very carefully stamped them with embossing ink onto my card front. I tried my absolute best to keep the sentiments and lines spaced evenly.

After I had all my pronoun lines, I used white embossing powder and heat embossed my pronouns.

Next, I heat embossed the sentiment “live exactly who you are” in black in the center of my card.

I used my blending brushes with only 2 different Distress Oxide Ink colors to make my Transgender Pride Flag! I was so incredibly happy with how my card turned out!

To continue with the flags colors, I paired it with a light pink envelope that had a scalloped light blue and white pattern!

I hope these projects inspire you to make a card as bright as the rainbow!
