Such a sleepy snowy village... isn’t it funny that snow looks so beautiful in pictures, but can be such a pain to deal with in real life? 😂🌨❄️☃️ . Now that I confirmed that my card swap recipient got this card, I am so excited to share this card I made with the @lawnfawn Winter Village set! I am trying my best to accumulate stamp sets that really allow you to use the provided images to create a scene, and this card is perfect for making an outdoor village during the winter! It almost reminds me of those Christmas Village sets where you can buy each of the buildings individually, and there’s usually a frozen pond with skaters moving around in circles! I wanted this card to look like you were walking through the woods, and once there was a clearing in the trees, you see a small sleepy village as the snow is falling, and I am very happy with the end result! . Happy Monday, everyone!! Let’s hope this week “flies” by!! 🛫 . The @kindredstamps Wacky Holiday Sets are always so fun, and the set for November is no exception! This set celebrates National Aviation Day and Month! I wanted to use the small plane stamp included in the set, and thought it would be perfect to carry a banner in the distance with a sentiment. I also used the stencil from the (now retired) Part of a Pride Limited Edition Box, and blended the grass and clouds. Finally, for my envelope liner, I had some awesome cloud paper in my stash that fit the card perfectly! .
