Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #72: A Jaws-Inspired Card

Hey Everyone! Today I am sharing my entry for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #72, which is to create a project inspired by a book, movie, or song!

So I started this challenge like I do any… rummaging through my stash until inspiration strikes. I came across my Duh-Nuh set, and knew exactly which direction I was going to take this card: a Jaws-inspired project!

The Lawn Fawn Products used for this project are the following:

To make this card, I colored up my images with Copic Markers. I also ink blended the sky with Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China & Peacock Feathers), the ocean layers (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch), and I also distressed my craft cardstock stitched die with Walnut Stain.

While creating this project, I realized that I didn’t have a wavy border, however there was a scalloped long edge in one of the dies with the Flippin’ Awesome Add-On, and it worked perfectly to create that wavy edge!

I hope you enjoyed learning how I made this card, and that it inspires you to make your own Jaw-some project!

Happy Crafting!

Justin
